Thu – Landlord in Williamsburg

Since I moved to Hawaii to work on a research project (I am a law researcher), I have rented out my apartment.

This time, I did it with the brokerage services of Aurelien Millecamps, an agent at Douglas Elliman.  I must say that Aurelien is a great broker!

First his brokerage style is unique:  I have seen many brokers from different real estate companies.  Aurelien Millecamps stood out because of his very special and artistic way of advertising the apartment. He used virtual staging to stage the different rooms in the apartment (especially the living room ) in a very artistic way, which attracts more people.

Here Aurelien plays the role not only of the broker but also of an interior designer and his talent and background in interior design serves him well.  The result was awesome:  within  one week from the day he put the ads on, we got  numerous visitors and among them, at least 4 parties interested in making an offer.

Aurelien cares about the interests of his customers. He screened the prospective tenants, getting rid of the nasty parties (I remember he texted to me: “I do not want them to be a pain for you in the future”).

The new tenants he recommended for me, I found very nice and responsible. The rent price was great – more than what I expected.

Added to his professional skills, Aurelien is very honest and a man who keeps his words – we became friends and I got to meet his wife and children.  Aurelien, I am so glad to have you and your wife as my new friends!

Aurelien gave to the apartments he is working on, something special:  he gave them a feeling, and communicated that feeling to the prospective tenants.  Maybe that is the reason why he got many offers so quickly:  he works according to his motto:  “Home is not a place, its a feeling”.

I recommend Aurelien Millecamps highly to whoever wants to rent, sell or buy their apartment or house in NY.
